The particular and distinctive about our Graphic Design program in the UPB is its strong emphasis on approaching projects from the analysis of the user's needs, which become requirements which summarizes in our disciplinary model. Our program focuses on the development of observation skills, inquiry, thought, analysis and synthesis, in every sense, in the investigation of the immediate environment and the context surrounding the graphic product.
An UPB Architect is integral and professional with emphasis in project competition; that harmonizes emotion, rationality and intuition- The aesthetic dimension-, with the ability of conceive, design, understand, communicate and create habitable spaces; compromised with the environment, the context and sustainability.
The Industrial Designer from our university is creative and his goal is to establish all the qualities of objects, processes, services and systems during all of the object's life cycles. Therefore, the main factor of the innovative humanization of technologies, and a very important factor for the cultural and economical exchange, is the human itself.
The Costume Design joins up all the aspects of "wearing" to create and conceive a project that responds to the needs of men through objects, processes, services and systems. The garment as a project is a main factor of the humanization of technology because of its innovative, cultural, social and económical dimensions, where people can express the way they are, live, feel, see and interpret the world.
